Smithy service buildings have a tech tree that allows mayors to upgrade and specialize the crafting done at armor smithing and weapon smithing stations.

• Service building expansions unlock tech tree pathways for higher tier artisan proficiencies.
• Service building expansions also unlock specialized crafting pathways. For example: from generalized Blacksmithing to Armor smithing, then finally toward specialization in Plate armor.
